The Swedish fashion brand Acne Studios has decided to take a serious and successful step - creating its own fragrance with which it will be identified. The first Acne Studios perfumes will enrich the olfactory world on April 17, 2024.

Acne Studios par Frederic Malle – “You can fall in love with someone because of their scent. And we create it"

Frédéric Malle undertook work on the composition of the debut fragrance of Acne Studios. To help him, he appointed one of the youngest noses he worked with, and a female one at that (the world of perfumes is dominated by male perfumers). But as Malle revealed to American Vogue, "I didn't know if she was a man or a woman, it didn't matter - to me she was just a perfumer."

The aim of the senseliers was to create a clean, safe, light and fresh fragrance, but without kitsch, citrus and sporty nuances. They went for an aroma reminiscent of fresh laundry, pleasant and comfortable, wrapping nicely like a scarf (which, by the way, many of us associate the Acne Studios brand with).

The first Acne Studios perfume by Frederic Malle combines notes of peach, orange blossom, aldehydes, vanilla, musk and sandalwood.

Fragrance composition

Fragrance notes: aldehydes, violet, orange blossom, peach, vanilla, sandalwood, incense, musk

For whom: unisex/genderless

The composition itself promises to be interesting. Judging by the chords, it sounds a bit creamy, sweet and powdery. What will it be like in reality? You will be able to see this on April 17, 2024, when the bottles will hit the shelves in Acne Studios boutiques around the world , in Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle boutiques and online at fredericmalle.com.
