On February 7, we wrote that Beyoncé was preparing to launch her new cosmetics brand Cécred. We didn't know what specific products it would offer. Today we are updating the content with new information about Beyoncé Cécred.

[Original content from February 7, 2024] "Hair is sacred" - with these words Beyoncé warmed up her fans. Because they already know that the artist will soon launch Cécred beauty cosmetics for hair care and styling . The announcement of the new brand itself is a small tribute to the singer's mother - Tina Knowles-Lawson - and a reference to Beyoncé's work in her hair salon. This was noticeable in May this year in one of the artist's Instagram posts:

How many of you knew that my first job was sweeping hair in my mother's salon? Destiny's Child began by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done.

What do we know about Beyoncé's new brand - Cécred?

Cécred is another fruit of this non-artistic part of Beyoncé's work, after Cé Noir perfume . This time, the singer focuses on hair care and styling cosmetics. We bet that he will focus on the line for curly and wavy hair.

The creator of such a hit as "Crazy in Love" does not hide her fascination with the world of hairdressing, which she experienced in her youth, helping in her mother's salon. She emphasized in one of her Instagram posts how this experience influenced her plans for a cosmetics business.

I've seen firsthand how the ways we care for and celebrate our hair can directly impact our souls. (…) Having learned so much during my journey around the world of hair, I always dreamed of continuing it [ Beyoncé's mother – note. ed.] heritage.

Beyoncé launches her new cosmetics brand Cécred on February 20, 2024. There are less than 2 weeks left until the premiere, but we can already visit the brand's website - cecred.com . For now, you can only subscribe to the newsletter and wait for news about the launch of hair products. It is not known to which countries the new cosmetics will be distributed - will, as with Cé Noir perfumes, priority will be given to residents of the USA and Canada?

[Update 21/02/2024] Beyoncé's brand - Cécred - includes 8 professional hair cosmetics whose formulas include, among others, bioactive keratin ferment ("ethically obtained natural wool protein, which is bioavailable for easy penetration, imitates keratin in human hair and provides a deep infusion protein”), a mixture of vegetable oils, probiotics or honey. These are cruelty-free products for strands with various textures, waves and curls. The Cécred cosmetics line includes:

  • shampoo and scalp peeling (PLN 155),
  • moisturizing shampoo (PLN 122),
  • deeply moisturizing conditioner (PLN 155),
  • reconstructing mask (PLN 171),
  • ritual with fermented rice and rose proteins (PLN 211),
  • lotion that locks moisture in the hair (PLN 155),
  • nourishing hair oil (PLN 179),
  • moisturizing conditioner (not available yet).

The range looks interesting, considering the original packaging. Care was also taken to use innovative technologies and comprehensive solutions in the production of cosmetic formulas.

The online store ships globally, including to Poland, Germany and Australia. We are curious whether Beyoncé will continue to sell through her website or expand the distribution of Cécred cosmetics through popular sales lines such as Sephora, Douglas, Harrods or Ulta Beauty.

Beyoncé also supported students studying at 5 cosmetology schools in the USA (Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and New Jersey). He will allocate PLN 500,000 annually. dollars as part of the Cécred x BeyGOOD for student scholarships.

I built Cécred from scratch. I put everything I've learned throughout my life into this so that we can borrow a little from our past and bring it into the future. Cécred is about prioritizing yourself and all the things that are sacred to you.
